Wishes for our April Meeting?

As we approach our final meetings before the Partnerships showcase, what would you like to see us focus on in April?

Have we done what we set out to do? What else might we do to help ourselves become more comfortable with the effective integration of technology, specifically SmartBoards, in our classrooms?

Weigh in by leaving some comments here...

  1. Hi All,
I was hoping to hear some people's ideas for with classroom management and the smartboard at this meeting...

I think we have definitely established that we are very busy people that are doing many, many different things with our classes. I think this is a project that really never, ever will end...or I hope it doesn't. The highlight for me was the Elluminate/whiteboard play session at MB. Really enjoyed the time to learn and explore together.
Thank you for asking "What else might we do to help ourselves become more comfortable with the effective integration of technology, specifically SmartBoards, in our classrooms?" It recognizes that we all have more to learn and more confidence to gain to feel comfortable
no matter where our skill level lies. I would like us to continue this connection and to do more virtually if real-time proves too difficult to manage. Now that we have this resource and the Diigo group I think we can continue to support each other in the future.

  2. Thanks for your response, Alissa... Appreciate the feedback on the last meeting.

Elluminate was definitely a hit and I agree with you that it may be another tool for us to collaborate next year. MBS staff also recently did a Skype meeting with Brooklyn staff on the last Pro-D... Easy 20 minute meeting, with no travel. So many options!! :-)

It's great to hear interest in continuing what we've begun. I think it would be terrific to keep supporting one another in our growth and improvement.
